An exciting role for a creative and meticulous individual, looking to shine in what they do and be part of a wonderful team. The Meadow Cafe is a special, bustling, community cafe that prides itself on delivering excellent food, drink and service to our loyal customers.

We are looking for a stand out person to fill this unique role, that champions attention to detail, creativity and passion.

Main Job Responsibilities:

​

•  Craft quality coffee and hot drinks quickly, managing multiple tickets and using a variety of milks and ingredients

• Calibrate the coffee machine and automatic grinder

• Follow and refine the cafe’s drinks specifications, undergoing regular training with our supplier

• 'Jump on’ to other stations to support the team

• Help keep the coffee station & cafe clean & organised

• Use quieter times to create & fun, informative and uplifting content for our social media pages.

• Post well thought out reels/grid posts at least twice a week, with well written and engaging captions

Who are we looking for?

• Someone with experience in speciality coffee, who is passionate about crafting excellently made drinks but can also work quickly and prioritise what’s important when it’s busy.

• Someone who enjoys creating - whether that be beautiful latte art or a fun & aesthetically pleasing instagram post. - you will really have ‘the eye’ for what LOOKS good.

• Someone who really knows their way around Instagram & Facebook, and understands how different types / quality of content can reach a target audience effectively

• A METICULOUS person! If something isn’t as good as it can be, we want you to be the kind of person who would want to do it again until it’s good enough.... whether that’s making a coffee or mopping the floor!
